The Team

The Horsham Team is now over 10 years old and consists of a bunch of dedicated and friendly dancers whose aim is to ensure that you have a wonderful evening every time.

First....the capitalists....

The DJ - Anthony

Anthony has been the DJ at Ceroc in Horsham for a couple of years now, and excells at playing a wide variety of music. He is ALWAYS open to requests, and has his own great selection of music in addition to the Horsham stock.

Anthony came to Ceroc as a member, and enjoyed learning to dance for some time before becoming the DJ, so is an established and lively dancer in addition to his ability to create a great atmosphere.

Anthony met his girlfriend, Janine while at Ceroc in Horsham and they plan to get married real soon.

By day, Anthony works in healthcare and also works alongside his brother part-time as a self-employed window cleaner.

The Teacher - Steve

Steve has been teaching for 13 years and is an established member of the Ceroc Teachers Association which now spreads the globe.
During this time, Steve has taught for Ceroc in many venues, Beckehkam, Croydon, London, Orpington, Guildford, Brighton, Newcastle, Bedford, Bromley, Brockham to name a few.

During the last few years Steve has concentrated solely on teaching in Horsham.

Steve works as a project manager for a software company by day but started life as a plumbing and heating engineer and had a short diversion as a holiday rep in 1993.

and now... the volunteers...

All of the Ceroc volunteers devote their time to helping out purely for the love of helping others. In some cases, it is to put something pack into the hobby that has helped them in one way or another to have a more fulfilled life.

The Ceroc team at Horsham are often referred to as the most friendly team in the country. And its not just us that say this (although we do big it up a bit....).

Volunteer venue manager - Helen

Helen finds that helping out enhances her social life and has made a lot of longstanding friends through Ceroc. She has been pivotal in the management of the evenings for ten years, almost from day one.

Helen also dances, and once she has finished with her voluntary duties, she loves to have a dance to wind down before heading home.

By day, Helen is a stay-at-home mum, and enjoys raising Sussex's largest collection of children (clearly she is mad).

Teacher's demonstrator - Atalia

Atalia has been demonstating with Steve since 2006. Before this Atalia was a popular Taxi Dancer for several years.

Atalia isn't actually bald, she just clashes with the Ceroc logo, and sometimes we have to check twice to make sure she is actually on the stage.

Atalia is a student of music, studying at the University of Surrey. During 2006/2007 Atalia completed a placement year with the London Philharmonia Ochestra where she has been perfecting her IT and Web Design skill as their Digital Projects Intern.

The Superstar - Janine

Janine will often be one of the first people at the venue, setting up the furniture, the disco, the banners etc. She often steps in as Teacher's Demonstrator when required.

Poor old Janine is set to get married to the DJ, Anthony some time soon, and she already has to suffer his snoring.

It doesn't really matter what needs doing, Janine always seems to be there lending a hand and things would run a lot more slowly without her.
